Fundraiser Information

Fundraising has taken a different meaning for Harmony School in recent years. On October 4th, 2015 Columbia, SC suffered a devastating flood that destroyed hundreds of homes and businesses, including our small non-profit school. We had serious flooding in our main building where our three classrooms of preschool/k children resided.

Due to the extensive damage to the preschool, the cost of renovation to bring up to code, and red tape with permits, it became evident that restoring our preschool building to its former self was neither financially feasible nor prudent. Now we are faced with the gargantuan task that is building a new preschool building by the elementary building, away from the flood zone. We are so thankful for the patience of our families while we carefully and deliberately considered our options. Please join us in supporting our recovery efforts at our annual Oyster Roast and Silent Auction on Saturday, November 4, 2017.  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year!

For the 11th year, Harmony is hosting a fantastic evening featuring live music along with hot steamed oysters, chilled beer and wine and numerous varieties of warm, homemade chili. We’ll also have an awesome silent auction with items such as travel opportunities, restaurant gift certificates, children’s items, gifts, books and original hand-made art – all available to the highest (silent) bidder!
